While attending the University of Minnesota studying film, I developed my creative skills by writing and producing radio spots for Hubbard Radio. After graduation, I transitioned into producing videos for local companies and organizations which eventually led to winning an Upper Midwest Regional Emmy. I now work as a freelance writer/director.
When it comes to commercial projects, my focus is always on delivering the message as efficiently and entertainingly as possible, using powerful visuals and an emphasis on story to achieve the goals of the project.
When I'm not on set or writing, I’m probably drawing, an old hobby I’ve gotten back into in recent years. I’ve found this skill helps immensely in planning out shots and visualizing stories.
